1 Samuel 27:8

SV	David nu toog op met zijn mannen, en zij overvielen de Gesurieten, en de Girzieten, en de Amalekieten (want deze zijn van ouds geweest de inwoners des lands), waar gij gaat naar Sur, en tot aan Egypteland.
WLC	וַיַּ֤עַל דָּוִד֙ וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֔יו וַֽיִּפְשְׁט֛וּ אֶל־הַגְּשׁוּרִ֥י [וְהַגִּרְזִי כ] (וְהַגִּזְרִ֖י ק) וְהָעֲמָלֵקִ֑י כִּ֣י הֵ֜נָּה יֹשְׁבֹ֤ות הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מֵֽעֹולָ֔ם בֹּואֲךָ֥ שׁ֖וּרָה וְעַד־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Trans.	wayy^a‘al dāwiḏ wa’ănāšāyw wayyifəšəṭû ’el-hagəšûrî wəhagirəzî wəhagizərî wəhā‘ămālēqî kî hēnnâ yōšəḇwōṯ hā’āreṣ ’ăšer mē‘wōlām bwō’ăḵā šûrâ wə‘aḏ-’ereṣ miṣərāyim:

AC	ח ויעל דוד ואנשיו ויפשטו אל הגשורי והגרזי (והגזרי) והעמלקי כי הנה ישבות הארץ אשר מעולם בואך שורה ועד ארץ מצרים
ASV	And David and his men went up, and made a raid upon the Geshurites, and the Girzites, and the Amalekites; for those [nations] were the inhabitants of the land, who were of old, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
BE	And David and his men went up and made attacks on the Geshurites and the Girzites and the Amalekites; for these were the people who were living in the land from Telam on the way to Shur, as far as Egypt.
Darby	And David and his men went up and made a raid upon the Geshurites, and the Gerzites, and the Amalekites: for those were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, and as far as the land of Egypt.
